The trials and tribulations of a group of feathered misfits whose one aim is to loot the Bird Munchies factory.

START EPISODE #15

"Thanks, we’d better get started. We’ll take it easy, go halfway and camp overnight."

"I wouldn’t do that."

Oh, it’s all right. We know all about feral cats. But we’ll camp right in the treetops where they can’t reach us."

"I wasn’t thinking of the cats, it’s the grubels that will get you."

"Grubels? Never heard of them."

"That’s because you’re not from these parts. Terrible they are. Fierce as a cat but only a tenth of the weight. They can climb to the top of any tree. Mark my words, you stop overnight on you way back to the big city and you’ll wake up inside a grubel."

"Erk. Okay, that’s it troops. You heard him. It’s a direct flight."

"From here. We must be mad. Why do we get into these things."

"Just save your breath Squill, you’re going to need it. Okay, let’s go. Thanks mate. Seeya."

"Hello Bert, who was that motley bunch you were talking to. Haven’t seen them around before."

"Oh hello Marj. No, they’re from the big smoke. Canberra. They’re on their way back there now."

"Politicians do you reckon Bert."

"No, don’t think so Marj or they’d have been travelling in a big white box. Tourists I ‘spect."

"In that were they. Well I’ll be. So that’s what they mean when they say package tour. Doesn’t look as though it would be too comfortable."

"No, but they probbly give you plenty to drink. I noticed one of them was a bit under the weather."

"Could have been one of those end of season footy trips then do you think? Looks like it by the mess they’ve made of their transport."

"Could be Marj, could well be."

"Oh well, they should make it home safely. They do say flying is the safest way to travel. As long as they take it easy and don’t try to do it nonstop. That’d be dangerous."

"Actually I think they are going to Marj."

"Come on Bert, even parrots aren’t that stupid. Why would they want to fly nonstop?"

"Because of the grubels."

"Grubels? What are grubels, I’ve never heard of them?"

"Nor had I until five minutes ago. How about we go down to the park and swim in the new birdbath."
