START EPISODE #4
One week later
"Right, we are all here
.... except for Kaegi. Now where’s he
got to?"
"He’s stopped to
look at something in the factory. When we
flew past, the door where they load the
trucks was open. Kaegi suddenly went troppo,
said he had to check something out. He should
be here in a minute."
"Okay we’ll start
without him. Now, ideas, someone must have
come up with something. Piki, Zingo, what
about you?"
"Come on Tandar.
You’re wasting your time expecting
anything from rosellas. They wouldn’t
know a good idea if it bit them on the
b...."
"Hah. Drongo by name,
drongo by nature. Your parents certainly knew
what they were doing when they named
you."
"At least I know who my
parents were. The trouble with......"
"Do you mind?
We’re supposed to be working
together."
"Sorry Tandar.
It’s just that.... Hullo, here comes
Kaegi. What’s he so excited about?"
"What is it
Kaegi?"
"You won’t believe
me if I tell you. You’ll have to see for
yourself. Come on."
2 minutes later
"I saw it but I
don’t believe it. How could a
birdmunchie be that big."
"Perhaps the machine
just didn’t turn off when they were
making it."
"What sort of bird
could eat a munchie that size?"
"I dunno, it would have
to be as big as an elephant."
"No
it’s....."
"Wait on Zingo. Tandar
I have an idea? This is brilliant. A bird
that size could tear the roof clean off the
factory."
"So?"
"So we find him and get
him...."
"Or her."
"Alright, or her, to
join the team. We'd be unstoppable."
"But Tandar....."
"Hang on Zingo.You're
right Kaegi. Great idea. We'll put the word
out, tell him there's a huge munchie just
waiting for him. We've got to find that
bird."
"Tan..."
"Ahh,Tandar."
"In a minute Zingo.
Yes, Rosso."
"How many ordinary
munchies would we eat in a week?"
"Oh, about half a dozen
if we can get them."
"And they never run
out?"
"Course not, the
factory makes thousands every week."
"And how many big
munchies did we see?"
"Only one.
What....?"
"So what happens when
this humungous bird eats the ONE
munchie?"
