"I take it all back Squill, that’s brilliant.

"Hang on, let me get this straight. You suggest we use guano to stop a truck."

"What’s he talking about. Guano? I thought he meant poo."

"He does Drongo, he does. Except we’d rather you called it guano."

"Knowing Drongo we should be thankful he called it poo."

"Forget about Drongo. Y’know, I think it’ll work."

"Yes but, ahh, guannoing on people from a great height. Is it acceptable behaviour?"

"For crying out loud Rosso, this is Canberra."

"You’re right, what am I worrying about."

"Wait a minute. Even if we stop the truck, how are we going to carry the munchie away."

"We won’t need to. If the truck crashes the munchie is sure to break up. I bet they won’t bother to pick up the pieces. They’ll leave it for us,for sure."

"Well, you might be right."

"Hang on Tandar, I don’t think seven of us will be enough. One or two are bound to miss. We need to recruit some more birds from somewhere."

"Good idea Rosso. I know. What about the pigeons at the shopping centre? You’re always saying they’re full of it."

"Too true, but they’re ground feeders. They might not be interested."

"If the truck hits a tree or rolls over there’ll be munchie all over the ground. That should interest them."

"Right, I’ll ask them."

"Hey wait on if the truck rolls over, mightn’t someone get hurt?"

"No we’ll stay well above it."

"Oh, that’s all right then."

A few days later.

"You’re sure we can rely on those pigeons."

"Oh yeah. There’s about forty of them. Once they got the idea they were very keen. Mind you it took a bit of explaining. They’ve a lot in common with Drongo. Fairly limited vocabulary apart from swear words. They thought guano was an Italian fashion designer. But once I....."

"Hey Tandar I think this is it. Look they’re bringing the giant munchie out. I’m sure they’re going to load it onto a truck."

"Looks like it Piki. You go and get the others as quick as you can. Meet me back here.

Rosso you get the pigeons."

"Righto."
