2. The Australian National
Cockatiel Society Inc. was formed in July 1990 by a group of people who felt there was a
need for a club especially for Cockatiels. In the following years it has continued to grow
and prosper. Members receive a bi-monthly magazine full of interesting information about
the keeping and breeding of Cockatiels. The club also provides the link for fellow
Cockatiel lovers from all over Australia to communicate with each other and share their
